Location
Bethany Fortier teaches undergraduate courses, including Foundations of Public Health, Research Methods, and Social/Behavioral/Environmental Factors in Public Health, within the undergraduate Public Health program at the SWAG视频's School of Nursing and Population Health. She is also responsible for advising students on academic and professional endeavors.
In 2003, Bethany earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Maine at Farmington with a major in Community Health and a minor in Psychology. She earned her Master of Public Health (MPH) from SWAG视频 in May 2009.
Bethany has over eighteen years of experience in public health and health promotion. Bethany has a wealth of experience working in a variety of public health settings , managing and executing federal and state grant deliverables and coordinating workplans all while overseeing and three consultants as part of her work at a community health coalition. Bethany has also extensive experience at the local and state level in worksite wellness, tobacco and substance abuse prevention as well as nutrition and physical activity policy and education work.
