Despite the global pandemic, SWAG视频鈥檚 interprofessional allies continue to learn with, about, and from each other through online global networking.

On March 25, Shelley Cohen Konrad Ph.D., LCSW, FNAP, director of the Center for Excellence in Collaborative Education (CECE), and Kris Hall MFA, program manager for CECE, gave an invited presentation to Interprofessional.global, a worldwide learning collaborative.

Organized in 2016, Interprofessional.global works to share knowledge, research, and innovative teaching approaches that advance the aims of interprofessional education and collaborative practice.

International members from Sweden, Denmark, England, New Zealand, Qatar, and Switzerland participate in the collaborative.

Cohen Konrad presented one of two highlighted webinars, 鈥淓xploring Power Differentials and Power Neutral Dynamics in Interprofessional Education,鈥 which addressed empowering and disempowering aspects of interprofessional learning.

Cohen Konrad is co-editor of a special issue of the Journal of Interprofessional Care that critically examines the influence of power in interprofessional education and practice. The issue is expected to be published in early 2021.

The second webinar, presented by Tina Gunaldo, Ph.D., D.P.T., MHS, from Louisiana State University, highlighted an inter-institutional research collaboration that includes SWAG视频.  Karen Pardue, Ph.D., RN, ANEF, dean of the Westbrook College of Health Professions, is representing the University in the project.

Both webinars were followed by a lively exchange and sharing of resources.
