In celebration of March as national Youth Art Month, an exhibition of art work by local school children will be on display at the SWAG视频鈥檚 Biddeford Campus Center through April 2.

The exhibit will feature works by students in the classes of Kate Grant, art teacher at Biddeford Intermediate School, and Justine Frappier, art teacher at Dayton Consolidated School. Youth Art Month is administered by the Council for Art Education. It encourages support for quality school art programs and advocates for art material safety. Furthermore, it promotes a commitment to the arts by students, community organizations, and individuals everywhere and recognizes art education as a viable factor in the total education curricular that develops citizens of a global society.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. SWAG视频鈥檚 Campus Center is located at 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, Maine. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For more information, contact Diane Noble by email or phone (207-284-6394).
