Journal Tribune, Daily Democrat cover presentation of Campus Center's solar hot water system
The Journal Tribune (Biddeford) on April 20, 2011 and Foster's (Dover, N.H.) on April 25th published stories on SWAG视频's new solar hot water system that was installed in the Campus Center in Biddeford as part of the University's plan to reach a carbon neutral footprint.
The solar hot water system will provide 50 percent or more of the hot water for the Campus Center. The system was made possible in part with a grant from Efficiency Maine, with funds from the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. John Tumiel, special adviser to the president, Alethea Cariddi, sustainability coordinator, and Owen Grumbling, chair of the Department of Environmental Studies, were quoted in the stories.
