Maine State data highlights that a significant percentage of young people suffer from anxiety, depression, and feeling of loneliness. This can lead to a conviction that they don’t matter to their community. Maine Resilience Building Network (MRBN) Executive Director Kini-Ana Tinkham, R.N., will invite participants to collectively learn and discuss ways to enhance mattering in our communities.
Kini (she/her) Kini works to improve the health and well-being of children, families, and communities by advancing the MRBN mission through partnerships, professional development, and advocacy. Kini has worked in public health and healthcare for 36 years as a RN, educator, advocate, and leader. She brings system transformation leadership to advance health equity, wellness and improved health and well-being. In addition to her work at MRBN, her career expands across maternal and child health, home visitation, school-based health centers, youth leadership, family planning, clinical healthcare delivery and public health.
